OzCastles is a website, launched early in mid-April 2007, that allows users to list properties online. You can sign up and list as many properties as you like for FREE! Yup, that's right, for nothing... zilch... bugger all. No commission! No listing fees! Whichever way you say it, it sounds like a darn good deal.

If you view the property listing you wish to edit, which you can do so via your control panel, you will see an edit listing link on the top right of the listing (to the right of the listing title).

You can add and manage your OzCastles images via the control panel. When you are logged in, at the top right of the page, there will be a link to your control panel. It will be to the far left of the logout link.

You can add and manage your OzCastles floor plans via the control panel. When you are logged in, at the top right of the page, there will be a link to your control panel. It will be to the far left of the logout link. Floor plans must be in the form of a PDF (ending in the .pdf extension).

You can add and manage your OzCastles videos via the control panel. When you are logged in, at the top right of the page, there will be a link to your control panel. It will be to the far left of the logout link. Currently, OzCastles only accepts Flash Video files, which end in the .flv extension. If you do not know how to convert your videos to Flash Video, you can use the website Media Convert, which is free and easy to use and requires no downloads, apart from your converted Flash Video file.

Google Base is an online database provided by Google that acts as a classified ads service. OzCastles will automatically add your property listing to Google Base, giving you even more online exposure. Additions to Google Base usually take 24 hours to appear in search results and also appear on Google Maps (maps.google.com) when the Google Real Estate Search option is activated under the My Maps tab.

You can check how many hits your property listing has received in your control panel. You will see the Listing hits figure to the right of the listing title.

OzCastles Featured Listings appear on the home page of the website and offer maximum exposure of your property listing. Currently, two listings appear in this section. The first is a sponsored listing, which is a paid service, whilst the second listing is purely a randomly generated listing with a photo. If you would like your listing to appear first under the Featured Listings section, please contact us for more details.

Yes. If you wish to market your property in a newspaper or brochure, you can simply add a reference to your OzCastles listing by providing the OzCastles website address - www.ozcastles.com.au - and quoting the Property ID, which can be obtained by viewing your listing. This simple reference will allow potential buyers to easily view all the information you've listed about your property on the OzCastles website.

There are two options for removing a property listing from OzCastles. (1) You can hide your listing from public view, removing it from OzCastles search results and only allowing yourself to view and edit it or (2) you can permanently delete a listing from our database. Both are done by editing a listing and either (1) marking the hide listing checkbox then clicking the Update Listing button or (2) clicking the Delete Listing button.
